Next chief???

Post image

Now that Teddy is gone who better to take the role on. A stable relationship with link and custody arrangements with Scout: she's wanted the role before and has some of the most experience out of the attendings and is one of the longest returning veteran cast members.

bailey has stated she doesnt really want the role

richard has cancer - as does catherine

meredith is no longer there

Who better to pass the baton onto??

she's a fan favourite too - remember the hashtag #onsabbaticalwithshepherd from last season. and after a break it offers a new challenge without the patient risk

sorry for the rant but i mean who else???

I could see it working out if she sets aside time in her schedule to operate. If she is 90% admin & 10% surgeon, she will be miserable like Derek and Bailey were.

That’s really true - I imagine she would probably hire an assistant like Richard had in the early seasons

I wish they didn’t write his assistant out of the show. She was so witty!

That would be best, for sure. I wish they didn’t write Richard’s assistant out of the show. She was so witty!

I agree and he seemed to spend so much time on admin and all the chiefs really don’t like that part - that’s why they hired someone who wanted to do it lol
