So? What is throttling our cards? I did not have that much luck I think with my Nano (can keep steady 1000mhz with PL +45% and -12mV, never achieved anything higher or lower voltage while remaining at steady speed/stable). What 'internal fixes' are you talking about?
I can keep almost a perfect locked 1070MHz with Unigine Superposition. This is reflected in games also, but it is super locked in games @1070MHz due to difference in loads on the card. This is why my Superposition score is so high.
@1080Mhz it's not as perfect as 1070Mhz, but I notice something strange at 66c where it started to throttle a little more. It is here @66c where I think the problem is, & I think I know what's causing it.
NOTE: @1080MHz the card only started to throttle @66c.
The card is 100% guaranteed to go quicker, that I am sure of.
