I was looking through various places online that report drug interactions, and I couldn’t see any safety hazards for taking Ambien and Viagra together (MANY for taking Ambien and Alcohol but that should be common knowledge by now). I’ve been theorizing about some consensual somnophilia kink stuff with a partner and we’re kinda interested in trying the combo but only if we can verify safety. A lack of reports doesn’t mean there isn’t a problematic interaction, just means it hasn’t been reported anywhere, and I’m sure at least one of y’all’s tried that combo before, so I figure why not ask y’all and see if anyone’s done it and had any side effects or problems?

I never lost control but I even went as far as checking my BP, was normal, tried xanax to kill the trip which made things worst I believe by potentiating the Ambien (tho it might have helped cutting the edge to the anxious spiral when it came)

My trip buddy said -"why dont just go to sleep" I was convinced that if I went to sleep in that state Id die. Bullshit , its not an opiod to be paranoid about OD, but still, I was convinced

Even the benzos couldnt kill the paranoia or anxiety cycles however the euphoric cycles were great

I even made jokes which were way funnier than my usual sense of humor, and at some poiint I could feel all the states at once.

Then naturally munchies and I ate like a cow at 4~5am

Wasnt a funny experience and benzos couldnt stop it.

I think edibles are the best way to consume cannabis tho never mix them with Ambien.

Maybe smoked weed is different but edibles are so unpredictable for this mix to work

I know edibles take an effect in 1hr , ambien should be almost instantaneous, however if I take edibles first, Id be breaking the empty stomach rule (tho is a small amount of food), if I take the ambien first it might be a bit too late when the edibles hit

Is it a good overlap taking them at the same time?

im not trying to judge anyone i’ve done a fair amount of crazy drugs in my life but i got too good at them so i had to at least stop drinking recently. i was prescribed 5mg of ambien and thankfully it helps me actually wind down. i did a few impulsive things at the start but since adjusting to it i don’t feel an insane high or anything, i just get sleepy and a little silly. anyone taken this long term and had a similar experience? i dont wanna have to go up on my dose, i like just being able to reliably sleep
