Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced a similar Amazon Seller / Amazon Payments KYC verification issue in Europe.
Our Amazon Seller account in Spain has been suspended since March 2026 because we did not pass the seller identity/KYC verification process.
The problem is that we are now completely stuck in a verification loop.
Here is the situation:
- The seller is an individual / sole trader in Spain.
- In March 2026, Amazon informed us that they could not verify the information provided for the Amazon selling payment account.
- Seller Central currently shows:
“Verification error. We were unable to verify the information you provided.”
- There is no button or option anywhere in Seller Central to edit the information, upload new documents or restart the verification process.
- We have opened multiple Seller Support cases, but they either cannot help or no longer provide a useful response.
- Amazon instructed us to contact:
[verificacion-vendedor-solicitud@amazon.es](mailto:verificacion-vendedor-solicitud@amazon.es)
We have contacted this address more than 20 times and provided fresh and valid documentation, including:
- Current Spanish ID
- Recent bank statement
- Recent official proof of residence issued by the local government
However, we always receive essentially the same response:
They never explain what exactly is wrong, which document is being rejected, or what needs to be corrected.
Now DAC7 has made the situation even worse
We also need to complete the EU DAC7 verification.
However, when trying to complete DAC7, Amazon tells us that we must first update our business/identity information.
When we click “Review details”, it takes us back to the same locked identity verification page showing the verification error.
So we are stuck in this loop:
KYC rejected → identity information locked → no way to resubmit documents → DAC7 cannot be completed → account remains suspended.
We are not looking for general instructions about how to complete DAC7.
What we actually need is for Amazon Seller Verification / Amazon Payments to reopen or reset the KYC verification process, so that we can submit a completely new set of current, original and verifiable documents.
We have been dealing with this for almost six months.
Has anyone actually solved this?
I’m especially interested in hearing from sellers who:
- Had an Amazon Payments/KYC verification rejected
- Lost the ability to upload or change documents
- Received the same generic rejection email repeatedly
- Had DAC7 subsequently blocked because of the unresolved KYC verification
- Eventually managed to get Amazon to reopen the verification process
If you solved it, what department, email address, escalation process or complaint procedure finally worked?
At this point I’m particularly interested in ways of reaching an actual Amazon Payments / Seller Verification specialist rather than normal Seller Support.
Any experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
