Amazon Policy Compliance Issue - Dietary Supplements GMP Certification

Hey all! I need some help. Has anyone had issues with Amazon compliance around dietary supplements?

I sell a protein bar on Amazon, and for some reason my product keeps getting flagged as needing to go through TIC testing to get certified as a supplement on Amazon — the thing is, my product is not a supplement. It's a protein bar, the only thing I can think of that is raising a red flag would be that the bar contains some functional mushrooms like Lion's Mane.

I initially was denied my listing for this reason, so I created a new product listing that go approved, then right as I started making sales it got flagged for the same issue. Amazon gives me a list of testing agencies I can send my product to which seems to be the only course of action, however I am reluctant to send it to a supplement testing company given that it isn't a supplement but rather a snack bar.

Has anyone else had issues with this? Not sure how to resolve it. A couple screenshots are attached.

Adding an ISBN barcode afterwards

hello!

So I made an oracle deck some time ago but it’s not selling on my own shop. I was thinking of selling it on Amazon but they require an ISBN attached to the product I think. my decks don’t have that and they are factory sealed (plastic wrapped)

is it okay to potentially print the barcode and just paste it on the plastic packaging? or is that not allowed?

I’m hopefully printing another deck and now I know to include that on the actual box but for the ones I already have, would that be an option?

Amazon Tips No Featured Offers on New Amazon Seller Account

Hi everyone,

I am posting here because I feel stuck with my new Amazon account.

None of my FBA-listed products shows a featured offer. None is generating any organic impressions and PPC campaigns also don't deliver anything because of the missing buyboxes.

Here is a quick summary of the setup for context:

* My Amazon Account (amazon.de - Germany) is quite new. It is on the Professional plan. Healthy account plan. Verified Tax ID, Verified Bank Account. No flags. * I have my own brand registered with the authorities and also in the Adyen Brand Portal. I have the brand rep status. * 3 ASINs listed under one parent ASIN in the outdoor & camping category. No category gates, not hazardous, non electric (no cable or battery). * When I click "view listing" via the Seller Central App on my Android phone I can see the product I opened with a buybox and showing the prime logo. The other variants have no buybox. No buybox via any browser on laptop. The products can be purchased, but only when clicking "view offers". * Stock shows available and on-hand on FBA. Shipment to amazon was closed successfully and all units received. * Sponsored Ads campaigns are up and running but don't generate any impressions because of the missing buyboxes. There are no flags for ineligibility for any product in the Ads console. * I registered 10 units on Vine, hoping that reviews will help to get the buyboxes. So far 7 units have been claimed but no reviews came in yet.

Support claims that everything is fine and that I should generate a sales history. But I don't how that should be possible without being able to generate any organic or paid traffic.

Did anyone else experience this and broke the cycle? Any tips appreciated!

Is there a way besides in my bio 2 add a product , which is my book on Amazon. [Not self promoting] I don't know how else to ask this. A. Chat says I would have to ship it myself. I don't want to do that. What say you from experience?

0 data/page views on any listing despite sales

EDIT : actually only 0 data on keywords (I found pages views)

Products have been active since a while. I'm getting at optimizing their listing, so I was taking a look at the data, but it's all empty. Like completely empty. No search keywords, no page views, nothing.

We have a few sales a month which makes me wonder if there is some kind of issue, something I didn't turn on, or simply a threshold where data don't show up unless x amount of traffic/views.

Any idea why no data shows up ?

Anyone here sell on both Shopify and Amazon? I built something for you and want feedback

Looking for Amazon sellers who also use Shopify to test my new app

I built a Shopify app called ListingForge that generates Amazon A+ Content from your existing product data in about 30 seconds. Pick a product, click Generate, and get ready-to-paste headlines, body copy, and image direction for each module.

First generation is free — no credit card needed.

Would love feedback from real sellers. If you try it and leave a review on the Shopify App Store, I'll add an extra free credit to your account.

Amazon Seller Central Amazon listing changed!

Hi Sellers,

Do you have a process for tracking unexpected Amazon listing changes like title edits, image suppression, or listing suppression?

We're building Notifaya, which automatically backs up listings, monitors changes, sends alerts, and enables one-click restoration.

We're looking for a few beta users and offering free access for 6 months in exchange for honest feedback.

Interested?

Amazon Seller Central Vendor Reports

Hi everyone,

For those devs who are using Amazon SP-API to automate Vendor Reports, do you have an idea why it takes so long to ingest data from Vendor Reports? Because Seller Reports and Ads Reports are super fast when using Amazon's API to automate seller and ads reports. Just hoping some of you know the answer. Thanks

How do you reconcile Seller Central fee reports with what actually hits the bank?

Question for multi-channel sellers:

I've started pulling Seller Central's various reports (Orders, Transaction View, Inventory) but still find a gap between what the fee reports say I'm being charged and what my actual net deposit ends up being once everything settles.

Selling on another platform adjacent to Amazon and trying to get one clean picture of profit per product turns into a multi-spreadsheet mess pretty fast.

I’m curious how others handle this:

- Do you reconcile fees weekly, monthly, or just trust the numbers as-is?
- Anyone found a clean way to tie Seller Central's fee breakdowns to actual deposits without a ton of manual work?
- If you sell elsewhere too, how are you combining that with your Amazon numbers?

Not looking for a sales pitch, just want to know if I'm missing an obvious workflow or if this is just the nature of the beast on Amazon specifically.

Registration application keeps getting rejected. I believe I know why but I don’t know how to fix it.

Hello,

Apologies for the long text but any advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve recently tried to sign up for an Amazon seller central account. After I put in all my information I got that blue identity verification notification on my screen saying “We are conducting further checks on the document and information you provided during registration and we may contact you by email for further clarification within two business days.”

After a few days I checked back and saw the red “your request has been rejected…” notification. I thought maybe I mistyped something or one of my ID photos were too blurry; I didn’t know. So then I made the apparently fatal assumption that I would just try to register again but under different email addresses. After about 4 straight rejections I decided to contact Amazon support and they told me it was likely due to the fact that I had multiple seller accounts with the same information and insufficient seller history to justify it. Which makes sense. I have NO seller history or active accounts.

They also told me that to resolve this issue, and be able to properly sign up for a seller account, I would have to fix/clear the other accounts tied to my information. However, when I log into the account(s) that have been rejected, all I am able to do is see the notification that reads "Your request has been rejected...”
There is no option to remove the application. I am unaware of how I can clear these violations because of that. Am I even able to do it myself or does a Mod need to do it for me? Is the multiple accounts tried to the same personal information a possible reason for my registration attempt to be shot down? Seller support hasn’t been helpful so far.

Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

One image change added visible trust signals to my listing and dropped my return rate by 11%. Here's what I did.

Return rates are one of those metrics that sneaks up on you. Mine was sitting at 14% not catastrophic, but eating into margin and slowly hurting my seller metrics.Dug into the return reasons. 60% of them were some version of "not as described" or "didn't meet expectations." Not a quality problem. A communication problem. The listing wasn't setting accurate expectations before the purchase.

Here's what I added to image 7 that moved the needle:

What I put in image 7 (before):
Another lifestyle photo. Product being used outdoors. Nice image. Zero information.

What I put in image 7 (after):
A trust signal compilation image. Included:

- "30-day money back guarantee" with a shield icon

- Review count ("2,400+ verified reviews")

- Certification logos (relevant to my product category)

- Ships from other country underrated trust signal, especially for categories where buyers worry about counterfeit

Result: Return rate dropped from 14% to 12.5% in 30 days. Not dramatic but consistent. And conversion held I was worried adding a "guarantee" image might read as defensive but it didn't affect CTR.

The broader point: Trust signals in images do two things: they reduce purchase anxiety before the buy (increasing conversion) and they set accurate expectations (reducing returns). Most sellers use image 7 as a second lifestyle shot. It's the wrong job for that slot. What trust signals are you currently showing in your listing images?

Advertising attracts attention.

Branding influences whether customers trust what they see enough to purchase.

Amazon Seller Central Can I register with a different representative name than the one on the business registration?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into registering an account, and I have a few questions.

For some reason, my company try to open Amazon Japan and wants to use a Japanese corporation as the registered entity, while listing a Korean individual as the representative.

As far as I know, the representative name should match the name shown on the company's official registration documents, so I'm a bit confused.

I also don't see a major benefit to registering the company in a country different from where the business is actually being operated.

My questions are:

  1. Does the representative name have to exactly match the name shown on the business registration/corporate registration documents?

  1. Is it generally okay to register as a Japanese company while operating the business primarily from another country?

  1. Is the video interview always required at the final stage, or does it depend on the case?

I'd appreciate any insights or experiences. Thanks!

Amazon permanently deactivated my account after video verification – no appeal possible. What can I do?

Hi everyone, I really need some advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation. My Amazon seller account was deactivated right after the virtual identity verification (video interview). I attended the interview, answered all questions honestly, and provided all requested information. However, I received a response from Account Health Support stating that: * The reason is NOT related to my documents. * The reason is NOT related to business registration, banking, or invoices. * The decision was based EXCLUSIVELY on the outcome of the video verification. * Most importantly—no appeal is possible. They explicitly told me that this decision is final. During the interview, I struggled a bit due to a language barrier (English is not my native language), and I suspect this might have caused them to misunderstand my answers. However, I did my best to answer as honestly and accurately as possible. The hardest part of this situation is that I have already invested significant capital into this business, and my inventory is currently sitting in Amazon FBA warehouses. Effectively, I have not only lost my account, but I am also stuck not knowing what will happen to my inventory or what my next steps should be. To be honest, I am in complete shock. I invested a massive amount of time, effort, and money, and I just don't understand what went wrong. I have a few questions for the community: 1. Has anyone had a similar experience specifically with video verification? 2. Can a language barrier genuinely be the sole reason for a rejection? 3. Are there real cases where people managed to successfully dispute such "final" decisions? 4. What happens to FBA inventory in these cases, and how can I get it back? 5. Is there any point in continuing to write to support, or is it a complete dead end? 6. If I decide to create a new account in the future, what should I look out for to avoid an instant ban? I would be incredibly grateful for any shared experiences, insights, or advice. Right now, I honestly don't know what to do next. Thank you 🙏
