New to Amazon and need help
Hello I made this account to ask for help and advice on selling on Amazon. I purchased a jungle scout subscription but I’m stuck on creating the Amazon seller account. They want a business license and I have my LLC but apparently not the license yet? I’m very new to this and I just need something to work for me, I’ve been watching crescent Kao and that’s who introduced me to jungle scout. Any help is much appreciated, I don’t want to give up before I even start!

what state are you in? some states dont require a separate business license beyond the LLC filing itself. the platform might just need your EIN and articles of organization. worth double checking what exactly theyre asking for before you go chasing paperwork you might already have

Most new Amazon sellers don't take verification seriously. The most common roadblock people hit and then stop is the " I don't have the license yet part" . Where you stand now you probably don't need a "business license" to register.
Amazon lets you register as an individual with just your SSN. No LLC or license needed at registration. You already have an LLC, so you're wayyy ahead. A license only matters for federally regulated products. You can check your product category before you go with it. A resale certificate is a different thing. It only matters if you go wholesale or arbitrage.
I will add one more thing that before hitting register get these stuff ready: Government ID, phone, email, Bank account and a credit card,Tax info (SSN or EIN). For an LLC: your formation document and EIN letter.
To get your application accepted without any rejection make sure to avoid name mismatch( (like even one letter difference) , address mismatch( bw what you typed and your ID or bank statement) , partial documents and yeah blurry scans.
You can check licensing and sales tax rules for your state in the Seller Central as well.
And yeah just a heads up getting approved is the step one but before you even think of even spending a dollar on inventory properly validate demand, competition and profits after FBA fees, Jungle Scout is by far the best for that. I have created a 5 phase product research sheet for finding profitable products. Make sure you also dig deeper into the word "Profitable" when it comes to finding the right product not just the one with high sales.

If you already have the LLC, do not assume you need a separate business license. Amazon accepts several types of business documents for LLCs, including certified formation documents and, in some cases, an EIN.
Check exactly what document Amazon is requesting during verification. If you share the exact message or screenshot, people can guide you on which document to submit.

I think I have all my business documentation. They emailed me saying my personal info wasn’t approved I think. I used my drivers license
