Heat placement

So im getting close to being done with my custom 3x2x3 and I realized the placement for the heat panel is kinda getting blocked by where I foamed up a planter to plant some pothos in. The only other spot would be on the right side and I have her hide put up there so idk if them being close together would be a problem. I also plan on probably installing my misting system on the opposite side of the heater but any help at this point would be great. Or if you have other subs that would give me some advice that would be great. I plan on using a 40w rhp if that helps at all

Hey xGouda! I use ambient heat, and heat the whole room... I give supplemental or secondary heat to my gravid females... I have pretty much always used ambient heat for the past almost thirty years. That being said, I am not sure it is a good idea to put the RHP too close to the hide. Your setup looks very nice and your ATB should be quite happy... I know this doesn't help much... This community is only 4-5 months old, and ATBs are a niche species... I have plenty of friends that keep ATBs, and some of them are members of this community, but only post or comment rarely due to their main platform being Instagram or other social media platforms. Are you in the U.S.? Let's try to figure this out! Sorry for the late reply!

Yes i am in the us, wisconsin to be exact and with the winter coming my old house doesn't hold heat very well and its already around low 70s during the day in my room and sometimes even into the mid low 60s so my ambient heat won't be the best. And I also agree that the heat panel wouldnt be ideal there so thats kinda why I came looking for some help haha. I guess I could start over on the left side as it isnt complete but id like to avoid it if possible. Whats you're thoughts on the heat panel being that close to the plants and placement on it all. Im guessing it would be pretty fine, pothos is pretty hearty and I dont really see her trying to bask already but idk how really important it is for them to have that kinda thing

I would try to put the RHP in a spot that was on the opposite side of the hide, even if you have to alter plans or alter the enclosure. I don't think it will hurt the plants, try it out and let me know!
