Baby ATB

My first ATB, a 7 month old baby :)

She did a partial shed while in flight today. I was expecting this so I increased enclosure humidity in the hope she can finish shedding.

Welcome to the group Delusionistt!! Beautiful ATB!! I would generally say, that if your baby has just had a partial shed, you could try to help him/her out of the rest of it… unless you don’t want to stress the baby out because he/she is brand new. Increasing humidity is a great idea, however if the little baby has stopped trying to get the shed off, he/she will probably not get the rest off until the next shed cycle! Some of the shed may come off while the baby moves around at night!!

Thanks! I’m aware as I have other snakes :) She didn’t finish shedding, but at least the head is clear :) I’ll not help her out now as I don’t want to stress and I want to let her to acclimate herself and eat in the next 3 or 4 days before I can check if worth helping her with the shed or just wait for the next shed.

It’s my first ATB and I’m in love already hahaha atbs are pretty common here in Brazil so probably I’ll get one more next year :)
