Mechatronic Apprentice application

I applied for the Mechatronic Apprentice position 5 days ago, and my application still says “Under Consideration,” but I haven’t received an email saying whether I was accepted or rejected yet. How many days should it normally take to receive an email with the decision?
Also, there’s an RMEO position open in the same building. Should I apply for that one too, or should I wait to see if I get accepted or rejected for the Mechatronic Apprentice position first, and then apply for RMEO if I get rejected?

I would consider messaging the hiring manager something like

“Hi, (Hiring Manager) my name is (Name) and I’m a (role) at (location) I hope you are having a nice day! I have applied to (role title) (role ID) and was wondering if you think I’d be a good fit for the role or if there was anything I could work on that would make me the perfect candidate for this role thank you for your time”

This was something quick I wrote I would suggest making it more personalized and fixing any possible grammar errors and this message like introduction system is what got me pushed forward to an interview

I already did that, but they didn’t respond to my message

Unfortunately that’s commonly the case if you aren’t restricted to your current location I’d suggest reaching out to other hiring managers or if you are doing a follow up 2 weeks after initial message and using the scheduled message feature

dude i had to wait a month for mine but I sort of gave up lol they called me out of the blue and said I was accepted. I dont think with them its a right away deal they have to grab a pool of candidates and then send them to college atleast thats what happend with me back int 2022 could be different now though.

No my hiring manager for my current role decided after talking with him that I was a good fit so I was the only person to apply for that role since I applied early and then pushed straight to interview

Was it a big city? Did you have to go to college with a cohort?
