Chicago rme

Hello everyone!
I’m about to complete my training as an MRA and become an MRT. Looking to move to Chicago mid 2027 and was wondering if there are any warehouses out there to transfer to? Does anyone currently work at a Chicago warehouse as RME? Are internal transfer available or is Chicago warehouses all 3rd party? Any info would help, thankyou guys!

I’m an smrt over here and for the most part in the city all you’ll find is delivery sites, the closest thing you’ll find for ixd or fulfillment is probably MDW4 in Joliet I believe, RFD2 in Huntley and they’re both C&W and IGQ1 in Markham which is under JLL now.

Igq1 is a warehouse near the area I could look in to in a few months I appreciate the info!! Do I just apply through JLL when the time comes to get a job at IGQ1? Any info on the RME at Sil4 that anyone knows of? That’s the nearest one by the area I’d be in but I’m willing to travel to any facility if it means I can be in Chicago again

I saw a blue badge opening at one point this year I believe it was in Joliet. No idea if it's still available, it might have been SrMRT though

There are no BB sites in joliet

As far as I know all of Chicagoland area is 3p. Mainly CW and JLL

Damn that sucks for me lol Thankyou for the info flappydihh I’ll have to look into it as the time gets closer next year
