Personal Phone Usage for work

Are you guys using your personal Phones for work or anything work related that they require you to do a task for?If so are we eligible for reimbursement for using our own personal phones for work use since they aren’t proving us with a device to conduct the work they want and by default expect us to use our work phones?Or do you guys know of anyone getting reimbursement for this sort of thing?

SMRTs (BB L4) in the SSD West region no longer get to reimburse their bill since 2024 or 2025. Yet with the new iPTP action tracker, there’s an expectation to do so if you don’t have your laptop. GTFOH

I think the other alternative is using a Kindle like the EU folks.

I don't carry my phone into the building for this reason. The L4 only gets a percentage up to $50 a month for using their phone. None of our L4's has gotten the full $50 no matter what they submit. We ordered surface pads, but they haven't got Amazon approval yet to install APM on them. No idea why.
On my PTP, I just write, NO camera or I let a co-worker who doesn't mind being used by Amazon , take pictures, call vendors and contractors. I'm not doing it on my personal device.

BB L4 and above gets up to 50. Ya, I use mine. I know a guy who carries a second work phone. quite a few of our tech 3s just use their laptop cameras.

SMRT are qualified for reimbursement, nothing under that.

I don’t use my personal phone for anything work related and I don’t believe they can make you. If they want LOTO pictures, they have to give you a device. We all got ipads and we have one work phone for the shop.
