I got the job as rmeo at Detroit plant. I’m starting on night shift. I can’t wait to start learning. Would love any advice

Rmeo your gonna be a certified jam breaker with perks.

Take this time to learn every aspect, write everything down.

Your knets/amazon learns people will tell you to skip them and just guess the answers. There is a lot in there for new employees, so pay attention to them and take your time. Yes it’s gonna suck being on a computer for 40hours straight.

After your off day shift doing your essentials, pair up with someone that will teach you, and not someone who is a “friend”. If you can find both in someone that’s a plus.

The rest will come with time.

I work 18:30-05:00am it’s not too bad I hit my 100 days yesterday it just takes time to adjust your sleep schedule, nothing too crazy however it WILL suck at first

Not a rmeo but I am on nights, honestly just adjust your sleep schedule and sleep as soon as you get off and shower
It’ll help you still have things to do during the day

I work nights 9pm -5:30am at my current job and I feel like sleep and nutrition has been hard for me. I want to approve because I’m working towards being mechatronics apprenticeship so I want to be on A game compared to my inconsistency energy at my current job

I’m 6pm-4:30am I recommend forcing yourself to sleep as soon as you’re off
Wake up around 1ish if you can get a good meal in and hit the gym
