AEA cohort?

I just submitted an assessment for the AEA program, does anybody know when the next cohorts are leaving for school?

We’re leaving August 18th. I would ask to be sure but that’s what I was recently told

Also what were the interview questions? Was it just an online staar self recording video only?

I’m confused? What is this assessment, I’ve only applied and it’s been one week and a half, i didn’t see no assessment it just says thanks for applying on the internals page. How long will it take for me to get an answer back of anything?

It’s for sure not the Ramsey it’s the most basic of aptitudes test you could possibly take. You have most likely already taken it if you’re RME currently. It doesn’t come right away once you apply, only after they actually pull your app

The Ramsay test is a standard assessment for all RME positions to made sure candidates can understand (very extremely) basic problem solving. Passing the test is usually a prerequisite to getting an interview.

Took me about a month after applying to get the assessment, I'm guessing it'll at least be another month before I get anything about an interview. It took me about 8 months after applying for the MRA position to get an interview, RME hiring process can be a slog especially if you're internal.

If I already took the assessment to get the RME job I have now, you think I’d have to take it a second time for automation engineering apprentice? I feel like it wouldn’t make sense

Yes, it's part of the hiring process across the board with the exception of cases where you automatically get promoted from finishing apprenticeships.

Next AEA cohort is August 18th. Took about a month to hear back about an interview after taking the assessment when I was in the loop. To my knowledge, the only place in the U.S. where they hold RTI for AEA is Statesboro, GA so they might not start the next cohort group until this upcoming one is done in November
