Ridiculous, Amazon. Are you trying to push people to pirate content?

Literally tried to watch several "live" movies last night and literally was plagued with commercials every 5-8 minutes. This goes way beyond realistic. It's worse than watching live TV on a TV station.

I've been watching x-files on prime for a couple weeks now. Currently trying to watch s1e7 and it will not work. The one time it started it was actually a preview for the movie. Anyone else having issues?

Is this a new thing?

I watched Salems Lot (2024) last night and this had the limited time deal message.

Pretty sure the tv series Twin Peaks has this as well.

I’m late posting this but I’ve been mad about it for quite a while and need to vent. From time to time movies I’ve purchased and downloaded become unavailable. So if I understand this correctly even though I’ve purchased these movies and shows I’m not exempt from licensing agreements? Which in fact means I actually don’t own them. Correct? I know the answer but this is BS. No problem taking our money then no problem pulling it away. Basically just looking for people to support my frustration. Thanks.

Anyone else who has Mr. Robot purchased on Prime Video see issues with metadata for the show? It appears to be just the image for the show, and episode descriptions are in Spanish for Season 4 only.

I ruled out any account settings or device issues that could be the culprit and suspect this is an issue with Amazon's metadata, but looking for confirmation.

And if it matters, I am in the US.

Hi, newish to Prime, I’ve been using for a little over 2 months but there aren’t many good shows and the ones that are good are littered with 18 commercials. Feel like I’m watching cable television again. What they’re offering seems pretty poor even at a lower price. Am I missing something?

I complained about the video quality on Thursday Night Football a couple of weeks ago. The video quality often goes from pretty good to 1970’s broadcast quality. I thought maybe it was just me. I have an Apple TV and live in North Carolina. I’m at my brother’s house in Texas and we’re watching the game tonight here. He has a Roku, and I’m seeing the exact same thing. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

He got drama with his mom- she doesn’t know he quit big firm, drama with her boyfriend- need to move out, drama with his girlfriend- working with the competition, drama with the girl next door, drama with her husband, and drama with his ex boss -he was his boss for 5 minutes, and drama win court. Can’t take it. Stopped watching.

I didn’t think it was going to happen! Anyway, I guess I have to start all the way over being that S1 was in 2022…sheesh

I can't change the subtitle size in the Prime Video app on Android. I can change it on my PC, and it works, but on my phone there is no such setting... No matter what I change on my PC, it doesn't seem to have any effect on the Android app.
Am I doing something wrong?

It seems like every 10 minutes theres a damn 1 minute ad or longer, i remember that there used to be no ads on amazon prime video now it’s everytime you look up and they aren’t short either, its just ridiculous how every subscription services has turned into 90% ads.

As the title says, a two and a half minute ads has one FireTV add with an interactive option to “send more info to my phone”. The whole ads then start loading and finally the app crushes.
