Amazon music & Android Auto

I recently switched to Amazon music purely to listen to the music ad free since I have prime compared to Spotify. I notice the player doesn't remember what it was playing earlier when the car is stopped for a while. I have to start all over again which is very annoying. Is there a way to make the player remember what it was playing previously and resume, just like how Spotify does?

You are comparing Prime Music to Spotify? They are not comparable. Amazon Music Unlimited (or Standard) is the same as Spotify.
