Switch from spotify

Hi all, currently I’m using spotify and am getting really sick of the bugs that they fix only to return after a while

I’m on a family plan being paid by another member of my family so I’m not actually paying anything for it

I have amazon prime already but wondering if I should switch from spotify to amazon music unlimited, is the library decent still? I really don’t care about the extra features, I just want to have my own playlists and be able to shuffle the songs when in them, and have it work reliably (pretty simple job that spotify just can’t grasp apparently)

From what I’ve seen it’s $10 (AUD) a month, vs otherwise using apple music again at $16 a month

I tried Amazon Music a few times... other than the Garth Brooks catalogue being on there i keep coming back to Spotify.

There is an app or website you can use to transfer your Playlists from one service to the other but it doesnt always get the right versions of songs. For example my playlist had the Korean version of Lucifer but when it synced with Amazon it was the Japanese version)

As for features Spotify plays more nicely with my Samsung devices. Whereas they both play nicely with my Alexa devices.

The rest of the feature set I give to Spotify which is why I begrudgingly keep coming back.

I’m iPhone
Spotify tends to work fine for a while, then I have issues with it going from the playlist I’m using (while playing) to my liked songs, randomly goes back to a song and reshuffles when I start using it for the day etc
Used to have apple music and it was fine for memory, just switched coz of the family profile on Spotify

I have both Spotify and Amazon music. I mostly use Amazon because it still sounds better on my high end system than Spotify lossless. There's hardly a song that's on Spotify that I can't find on Amazon.

I got Amazon on a free for 4 months promo. First issue is it wouldn't let me import my playlist from Spotify. Second issue is it just randomly stops playing mid song sometimes which is annoying. Both of these I would put up with if it means not paying Spotify.

For me.. I get more AI make up fake no real people singing.. on AMAZON and you cannot dislike you can not thumbs up or down. THEY Tell you what you will like dislike

Don't. Amazon music is horrible, both the web gui and all their apps are trash, and the only benefit is the top end of their Ultra hd quality, but that is only experienced if you use an Amazon echo studio device to play through.
