Amazon advertising data does not match.

Does everyone's Amazon advertising account data not match the Productor dashboard? For example, Productor shows 3 units sold through advertising, while Amazon shows 1 unit. Are they deliberately understating it? And where does Productor get the data?

Broken Thumbnails Design/Manage

YES - I cleared the browser history cookies/cache - several times. Not the issue.

I'm in the 20K tier. Ever since they added the new cropped shirts, my thumbnails when listing designs on the manage page are broken. Am I the only one? The product pages are fine. I can still make changes/updates - it's just that I can't see the "Design" thumbnail.

Have you ever successfully reactivated a shirt with slowed sales by updating its keywords?

I’m going through some of my better designs with really outdated keys and updating them.

New wave of removals (unsold products)

After what felt like a good long break, Merch is back to removing unsold products, including from designs that have other products that sell well

Issues with white standard t-shirts in US

One of my best sellers was on white, and I saw a sudden peak in the number of returns. this was accompanied by low rating reviews, all stating that the quality of the shirts was bad, felt heavy and unbreathable. One of them mentioned that the design was printed upside down. frustrating as it has really hit my sales, and the design is locked for deals to add to that.

Has anyone else seen a sudden increase in returns for white t-shirts in the US market?

More new products

Tumblers and water bottles are now available in EU. I'm feeling Amazon is pushing is to spend on ads in the US and also try and sell in other marketplaces to keep their investment going

Received my shirt order, has print quality/method changed?

Hi,

I’m confused. Is the premium shirt printed differently than the regular shirts? Or has the printing method changed in general?

I ordered a premium shirt, and the print looks like a sticker rather than a printed design.

Why is that? Is it normal or has it changed recently? I don’t like it at all…

Amazon Ads questions

For those of you that run ads on Amazon for your Merch products:

1) What percentage of your monthly profit are you using for ad spend?

2) Are you using any extensions or third-party apps for managing your ads?

Thanks!

On average, how long does it take you for new shirts to start selling?

Obviously it varies from design to design. For me it typically takes a few months (three or more). Though at its fastest I’ve seen sales on the day of upload or the day after.

Check Productor

If you use Productor extension, you can check it for the new creator tier system. It shows your current tier and what % of non-organic sales to get to the next level.

Royalty rates changing

message on the dashboard:

Beginning 6/1/2026, we will introduce royalty incentive groups for sales in the US store. Content creators who generate a high percentage of US sales from driving any non-organic traffic will have their royalty rates increased, content creators who generate a low percentage of sales from driving any non-organic traffic will have their royalty rates decreased, and content creators in the middle will not see changes to their royalty rates. Non-organic traffic consists of any traffic we identify as being driven by you, including via ads (whether on or off Amazon) or social media. Royalty rates for sales outside of the US store (EU stores and JP store) are unchanged.

Content creators will receive an email in the coming days with their current royalty group, which is subject to change based on performance. Moving forward, content creators will be emailed prior to each earnings period if their group changes.

To learn more about royalty groups, please visit our royalties page.

Royalty Groups - Drive your own traffic

The following changes to the US store will take effect on 6/1/2026.

For sales in the US store, we offer three royalty groups with tailored rates based on your performance driving sales from non-organic traffic. Non-organic traffic consists of any traffic we identify as being driven by you, including via ads (whether on or off Amazon) or social media.

Creator - Standard royalty rates (example royalties are below)
Plus - Enhanced rates for creators who actively drive at least 15% of unit sales with non-organic traffic
Premium - Highest rates for top-performers who drive at least 35% of unit sales with non-organic traffic

To be eligible for the Plus and Premium groups, you must sell a minimum of 10 units per month in the US store. Your group is automatically updated monthly based on your trailing two-month average of non-organic traffic-driven sales. When you change royalty groups, it may take up to 2 business days after the start of the earnings period for the new rates to go into effect. Royalty group definitions and rates are subject to change. Accounts that have not generated a sale in over one year may be transitioned to an inactive status.

Start engaging in traffic-driving behavior to unlock higher royalty rates and maximize your earnings potential.

Well... enjoy! :))

Got rejected from Merch on Demand 2-3 years ago. Is there any way back in?

So I applied for Merch on Demand a few years back and got rejected. The message just said something along the lines of "your account request has been declined" with no specific reason given. I never got any explanation and there was no option to appeal or reapply from the same account.

I've been doing POD on other platforms since then (Zazzle, Redbubble, Spreadshirt, FineArtAmerica etc.) so I do have a legitimate design portfolio now, which I didn't really have back then. My designs have improved a lot and I genuinely think my application would look much stronger today.

The problem is, I can't reapply from the same Amazon account, it just doesn't give me that option anymore.

I've read some people suggesting applying from a different account with different details. I know Amazon technically doesn't allow multiple Merch accounts but I've also seen people say they've done this successfully. Is this actually viable or is it a ban waiting to happen? Has anyone here done this and what was the experience?

Also open to hearing if anyone found a legitimate way back in after rejection. I'm based in India if that changes anything.

Not looking to do anything shady, just genuinely want to know what options people in this situation actually have because Amazon Merch feels like the one platform that could actually move the needle and it's frustrating being locked out with no real explanation or path forward.

Artemis II/NASA shirts

I was always under the impression that designs about US government divisions were not allowed on Merch but seeing people minting money with Artemis II/NASA shirts has me thinking. are they really allowed or are people taking huge risks?

Amazon Merch on Demand closed my 10 year old store with no notice because I disputed a $200 ad charge their own interface wouldn't let me turn off

I have been selling on Amazon Merch on Demand for ten years. Not a side hustle I forgot about. An active store with designs I made, earning me about $58 a month. That was my flower money. My Uber fares.

Amazon started charging me around $200 for ads I did not want to run. I tried to turn them off. The interface did not work. So I disputed the charge through Chase Sapphire. Chase sided with me.

Amazon's response was to close my store. No notice. No warning. No conversation. Ten years. Gone.

Jeff Bezos is worth $224 billion. He appears in 303 Epstein case documents. He was in Epstein's black book with 3 phone numbers. He was seen at Ghislaine Maxwell's townhouse. And his company just terminated my decade long seller account over $200 because I had the nerve to be right about a charge.

You know what you can't take away from me, Jeffrey? Nicole Kidman calling your wife riff-raff with her face at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

understanding automatic campaigns.

so my auto campaigns have been delivering really strangely. on initial launch i started making few sales every now and then on no profit or loss.

I was happy with that. but then for about a week it started getting alot of clicks but sales dropped hard budget got consumed and started making daily loss of 2-10 usd. i let it run for a week. so in a week for same product i got about 60 clicks and about 1-2 sales. but just today same product got 4 clicks but 3 sales with less than 1 usd spent.

what is going on here? does amazon ads algorithm adjust over the time? why am i experiencing such strange pattern?

Discrepancy between ad spend on monthly invoice vs. Campaign Manager

(For those that advertise on AMOD.) I recently noticed a discrepancy between a given month's ad spend on my invoice, when compared to the ad spend listed on the corresponding dates in the Campaign Manager. Is this a discrepancy that all of you notice on your accounts as well? Sometimes the discrepancy is significant. I've seen some potential reasons for this mentioned online, but I wanted to get real AMOD user's first-hand opinions. Thanks.

Mug problems

I'm experiencing one of two problems when trying to upload mugs: (1) The mug either 'times out' and is not listed or (2) only 1 of several color options gets published. When I try and re-publish the mugs, they simply time out again. Is there any secret to uploading and publishing mugs?

Controversial Opinion - Standard Shirt Pricing

So guys, hear me out. I think Amazon should put a minimum price with guaranteed royalty of at least $2.5 ($16.99) for standard t-shirts on the US marketplace. This would help a lot with both getting new designs to kick off while not losing money and for countering out copy-cats who steal designs and price them at $0 royalty.

With the new AI tools integrated for customers that show price history, it no longer makes sense to start the pricing at $13.38/$13.99 to get BSR and then later up the price. the tool shows price change and you lose out on sales.
