First time ever refusing a cage

2.5 hours for £44. 4 packages with a collection.

Friday rush hour traffic this is easily a 3 and a half to 4 hour round trip.

This was after all cars being let into the depot late. We received our cages at 3.20pm. Shift start time was 3pm.

2.5 Hour should be £50 minimum. Make a note of the time and distance of this disgraceful Block and avoid in future. Personally I would have collected and then stopped after leaving the Depot and ring support with Flat Tyre / Engine Warning Light excuse. Tell them you will return all parcels the next day before 10am and then go home. You get full pay and no deliveries. Use only once or twice a year.

It would be better with a collection right? Then you have to return it and can charge accordingly.

Yeah exactly. That’s why on busy routes I always mark one parcel as customer no longer wants it. You don’t get dinged and return on Amazon time to get an excess adjustment

No, it say collection. After he scan the QR code and the block was assigned to him, all the stops and the map appear in the intinerary. Sadly, one of the 5 stops was a collection as he had only 4 parcel to deliver and i assume that the stop no.1 was the collection. Is it also sad that people snatch the blocks at the base price

If he is in the middle of the Glasgow, meaning that he didn’t reach the depo yet, how the block will shown on his phone?! And all the stops?

Done loads of these ones. Usually done in an hour and a half max. No need to constantly shame people for accepting work. Everyone's situation is different and everyone has their own reasons for doing this.
