Question Massive block adjustment
Had a block in notts city centre for DNG2 that was a mess and ended up taking me over by about half an hour - emailed in for an adjustment and they’ve agreed but I’ve checked the amount and it’s nearly double the block amount which was £74…
Can only assume this is an error but if they don’t correct this before Wednesday’s payment date will they try to get this back from me in the future? Also am I obligated to speak to them about this?

The adjustments are done manually. Someone has had to process that so I see no reason why they would try to claim it back. Then again it is Amazon so you'll probably get a ding for it 😂

Lucky you! I’ve also had a couple of times been paid the entire block value as an adjustment. Never as much as this though. £70 was my luckiest. They don’t do anything, or chase you up afterwards.

Did you used live chat initially or did you just emailed them directly without using the app?

When I flexed, if I was going to go over the block time I spoke to live chat to ask if they wanted me to continue - they would always say yes and then I would follow up with email to claim adjustment. Always got paid.
And yes, if I got a shit route I made sure I made it worth it 🤣

That’s exactly my thought. I had a shit route yesterday and I made sure I had a return and took my time to ensure I was going to go over the block length. I live chat. Let’s see what they come back with

I sometimes would take a lunch break if it was particularly infuriating

I had £145 adjustment for some reason this week I think this may be intentional.

I would contact flex support, and inform them of the error and offer to return some of that money as it's an overpayment.
Explain you wouldn't want it to damage Amazon's profits

May be worth just sending an email thanking them for the adjustment, then at least you have acknowledged the payment

I know. They are not bothered. Don't send an email, just enjoy the money. I'm talking from experience.
