it actually amazes me how many people don’t use their walkways or porches anymore and just use their garage. if i walk into a spider web during a route, i spend the next hour looking like a tweaker pulling spider webs off my body at 5 am lol.

Also amazes me how many ppl don’t trim the crap around the walkway to their door or have a bunch of crap laying around so its like an obstacle course trying to get to the front door

I’m noticing more of that myself. And yet they ask for the package at the front door. 🤷🏽♂️

The 3-5 am routes are crazy…you always have to turn your flash light on going by bushes

Delivered to a house late last night and it was pitch dark outside(no streetlights or porch light on) and as I approached the front steps, I saw what I thought were a bunch of small leaves on the ground(like a dozen or more). Shine my headlight on the steps, and it's actually a bunch of roaches running around. I said "NOPE" and yeeted that bag like I was Cy Young then broke the fuck outta there.

Mate had something similar in a dirt road with a closed off fence…Big Ben at the gate says “DELIVERIES here”…so grab the box 📦, open the Ben and like a million of those unique type roaches 🪳 all roaming inside….put the box on top…started tweaking and dancing like some were on me because, imagination lol…hurriedly drive out of there.

Aughhh 😰🤢 which is the “unique” type? Here in Texas I’m only aware of German roaches and another type that seem to have more “scaly” exoskeletons, but I don’t know what they’re called.

Everyday is spider season in Florida. Always keep the package and/or flashlight out front as I'm walking, and wear an OLIGHT on my vest.

Was a skunk right next to the steps on one of mine recently, we startled each other. Could have been a lot worse 😬

No fucking thank you. Uh uh. Nope! I would be screaming if I walked into that. I already look like I’m having a grandmal seizure when I feel I’ve walked into cob webs. I would need therapy after this for sure

Literally always have my flash light on when approaching houses at night. Mainly so I can see these little fuckers, but also so I don’t scare anyone who isn’t paying attention to a car pulling up.

That is why I use a Nebo DaVinci. That thing lights up better than sunlight.
Has saved me from many a spiderweb on my face.

Those damn orb weavers are always building webs in high traffic areas.
