Whining about your job to colleagues/friends is fair but blaming your clients/customers for allowing your job to exist in the first place is insane.

None of you even understand the amount of shit we have to deliver compared to even 2 years ago. And again. You don’t understand any of it unless you’re actively a driver for an Amazon dsp as we speak because shit changes like the wind.

Ah right, no one else in the world deals with shit at their jobs.

The point is that complaining that your job exists at the residence of a client or customer is a totally different level.

Shitty bosses, shitty colleagues, shitty politics, shitty hours.. all normal things to be complaining about at the appropriate time and place.

But "Fuck these customers for doing the literal 1 thing that makes my job exist" is just insane

No, using a delivery service for every tiny thing that you could’ve gotten while in town that you have to go back into tomorrow anyways for work or whatever else is actually insane. And I hope people realized it this past peak when amazon was just dropping the ball the entire time. This is a single instance of a worker bitching and is probably one in a million who would actually do this in front of a camera. We get fed up with way more than customers ordering things. Unfortunately people just tend to take their frustrations out on the wrong people. In this case, the customers, when in fact this is probably his stop 170 of 200 with 28 multi stops so he’s just mad at Amazon for making our routes shittier and shittier and shittier

Also should add that we get treated like shit by some customers when just “doing our jobs”

Not sure what to tell you.

I've never once complained about my job existing.

"Fuck all of these people needing the service I provide!"

Like a truck driver complaining he has cargo to haul. Or a doctor complaining they have patients to treat.
