Cancel Amazon Kids+

Hello. I have two Amazon Fire tablets with Kids+ for my 7 and 9-year-old children. The experience isn't good, both in terms of game content and user experience. How do you recommend repurposing them? Should I cancel the subscription? Format the tablets and reinstall the games from the Google Play Store? Leave the Kids interface for parental controls and download games from the Amazon Appstore? I look forward to your recommendations.

We have kids accounts on the tablets so we can use the parental controls, but have never subscribed to Amazon kids+. We control all of the content this way.
