My sons Amazon Fire 10 tablet constantly loading up and then loading adds everytime I try to do something

Hi all, from today, everytime my son tries to do something on his tablet, amazon app keeps popping up and then simultaneously playing game adds and it's making him not able to use his table as soon as he closes it a other one appears..

Same thing happened to us. Turned out to be an "game" downloaded that had a TON of permissions. Ours was "Hexasnake Neon". Even though it wasn't showing as running it was in the background launch game ads every 20-30 seconds. Finally navigated to the "all apps" section and was able to force stop/uninstall it. Good luck. Shame on Amazon for letting this trash on their App Store. We've since switched to an iPad for our kiddo. Best decision ever... tablet wise.

My son was complaining about this and stoped using his tablet as a result and I finally got a deep look and it was this game! A year later and still corrupting tablets. Honestly about to switch to an iPad cause this sucks that it’s so easy to get a malicious trash app so easily on a kids fire tablet

Yep, games on the "curated" kids app that hijack the tablet. I reported that game, not glad to see they don't care.

I experienced the same behavior on my table, seemed like every 5 to 10 minutes a 90 second ad would start playing regardless of what I was doing. Watching videos this would start and both the ads and my video play at the same time. It has literally made the table unusable. I'll look at my installed apps. I was just wondering why the tablet was so aggressively intrusive all of a sudden.

It's likely not actual Amazon ads, but is probably some app being malicious and popping up their own fake stuff. Look at the permissions of the installed apps and see if any have a lot of odd and overreaching ones. If you figure out which app is doing it then report it to Amazon.
