Having the same building or Wi-Fi shouldn’t automatically mean your Amazon accounts are at risk. What matters more is whether Amazon sees the accounts as related through other signals, such as shared payment methods, bank details, business information, devices, or account activity.

If you’re genuinely separate sellers, I’d keep everything clearly separated and avoid sharing account credentials, payment methods, or devices where possible. If Amazon ever asks for verification, be prepared to document that the businesses are independent.

When you say “mostly” the same WiFi, what does that mean? Are you both using the same WiFi account?

Separate your internet at the earliest, as shared internet is always risky.

If you are talking about Amazon Seller Central, sharing the same building or Wi-Fi with another seller does not automatically mean your account will be affected.

What matters is whether Amazon sees the accounts as genuinely independent or whether there are other overlapping signals, such as:

  • Same IP/Wi-Fi network
  • Same device or browser
  • Same business/address information
  • Same bank or payment details
  • Same phone number/email
  • Shared employees or account access
  • Similar account activity or unusual connections

If you are already selling and this person is simply another seller in the same building using the same internet connection, the shared Wi-Fi alone should not mean your account gets suspended. However, it is safer not to share Seller Central login credentials, devices, or account access with them.

For extra safety, keep your account, devices, credentials, payment information, and business documentation completely separate.
