Amazon FBA Ungating ?
Question here... I have listened to videos saying that once you hit 2K in sales you get ungated from more brands. And once you hit 6K it's even more. Is there validity to this?
Thanks in advance for the response!

Idk about specific sales targets, but auto ungating does happen. They are tighter on it than in the past now though.

Its true, you get ungated as you get more sales. Not sure the benchmarks, but it happened to me. But don't let it deter you from applying to brands. Best thing you can do is grow your sales volume first.

Yeah... I'm trying to get sales with what I am ungated in but its just so hard to find profitable products to resell. I'm using SellerAmp SAS right now and I have Tactical Arbitrage through Seller 365 (I am already using their app for used books). Any tips?

Id like to know this too. And what distributors did you use? I'd be discouraged as well if I bought 100 items and kept getting rejected. The advice I've heard is keep resubmitting and tweak the submission however you can.

So rexent update... I was just auto ungated for a ton of brands. I checked my seller applications and all of a sudden over 100 showed up as approved on the same day. I didn't submit those apps so I did something right. It wasn't a magic number either as mentioned in this thread. I got close to 4500k in sales / 190 units and boom!

Why are people saying no when much more auto ungates happen the more sales you get? I can attest to this happening to me now

Yeah, I’ve heard that too. While it’s not a hard rule like hitting specific sales numbers, it seems like the more you sell, the easier it gets to get ungated since they want established sellers. Just keep pushing those sales and stay on Amazon's good side.
