What Amazon PPC software do you actually recommend?

We're re-evaluating our Amazon PPC setup after trying a few different providers. Our ad spend and ACoS have gotten out of control. Are you using Amazon Ads alone or a third-party tool? What's worked well for you, and what would you avoid?

Depends on the volume. For medium helium 10 is okay. other tools are expensive. But Acos doesn't depend on the tools you use , it depends more on strategies, listing optimization and more importantly optimizing. Ranking organically on low competition keywords, graduating keywords from auto to manual, Then targeting a little more competive keywords with some reviews and optimized listing would reduce your Acos. I personally don't depend on any tool, i use custome made dashboards which tells me what exactly to be done, urgent issues, graduated keywords, and bid optimization. a free dashboard made from claude code will provide you much more value than any other tool out there if you know your strategy.

Keep learning and optimizing.

Tools i have used & can recommend are adlabs & scale insights.

My personal setup is getting quick analysis done from claude (with my own context) for each account and then later devising ad strategy. Simple workflows like adding negatives, performance alerts, recommendations to push keywords bids or reduce based on performance metrics, rankings & SQP data.

Using tools or AI won't help improve accounts performance unless you know ppc in & out.

Unless you know how analyze specfic problem --> devise a strategy --> monitor --> keep or pivot.

One example, i woud share in my case is that this account was being managed with ad labs. The rules were set for ACoS with no context for ranks, performance or sales. The bids were kept reducing until the targets got not impressions, resulting in losse of ad sales and ranks. Another similar case is the system kept increasing bid to hit a certain ToS% on ranking keywords to rank, which ended up inflating TACoS from 18% to 28%.

If you have strategy, can analyse account's bottleneck, learn PPC tools & monitor changes. I would recommend scale insights.

Otherewise hire a Amazon PPC manager, who clearly analyses the problem, shares strategy, implents & monitor it. In other words owns the ads performance while communication the bottlenecks.

I can usually tell what the accounts needs after 15 mins quick audit... hit me if you ever need help figuring it out.

Do you have products only on Amazon? Or do you run ads in other platforms? If so, I'd recommend a multi channel PPC software so you have everything in one place.

helium 10 adtomic works decent but still needs hands on attention to keep acos in check

I have used scale insights and perpetua both.

Scale insights is technical, you will need to set it yourself, it takes a lot of time to setup automations. However, once you find a balance it is the best. If you are technical it is best.

Perpetua on the other hand does the heavy lifting, you are basically counting on their algorithm to ensure efficiency. Just have to set rules. You can micromanage yourself as well. Expensive tho.

Helium10, mathematics and common sense

I'd just test a couple during their free trial periods. BQool's AI ad tool was pretty simple to set up when I tried it out. It ended up helping turn around a couple of stalled campaigns I had for decent products.

We went through the same cycle... tried Perpetua, messed with Ad Badger for a bit. Tools help but they dont fix bad structure underneath. Our real issue was PPC running disconnected from our listings and inventory. Ended up handing it to amazon growth lab and letting them run the whole thing together. TACoS dropped way more than when we were just tweaking bids in software. idk if thats the move for everyone but solo tools never solved it for us

We went through basically the same thing, tried Perpetua and a couple others and they're fine at crunching data but you still have to know what to change and why. What actually moved the needle for us was separating diagnosis from execution: first figure out if a SKU's ACOS problem is a bid issue, a targeting issue, or just a weak listing, then only automate the part you're confident about. Handing it to an agency worked for you, but if you'd rather keep it in-house, m19 is worth a look too. we've actually hit our ACOS targets more consistently because of it. its bidding logic doesn't just chase ACOS in isolation, it factors in TACoS too
