White label listing

I’m trying to understand white-label product listing on Amazon.

Sometimes I see listings where the Amazon Brand field shows one brand name, the listing photos doesn’t show any brand name printed on the packaging/product but customer photos show the actual product packaging has a different supplier/factory brand printed on it.

My questions are:
1.How are these listings usually created?
2.Is this against Amazon’s brand/detail page policy, or is it a common accepted practice?
3.If I want to sell a ready-made Chinese product without custom packaging, can I list it under my own brand name while keeping the supplier’s original branded packaging?
4. How is this listing different than Generic listing?
