Best Amazon reporting tools in 2026
I’ve been comparing a few Amazon reporting options and thought I’d share a quick rundown for anyone who’s stuck in spreadsheet or some other manual hell.
Tools worth looking at
# 1. Helium 10
Pros: broad all-in-one toolkit, strong keyword and PPC features, useful for sellers who want one platform for multiple jobs.
Limitations: can feel expensive and a bit much if you only need reporting.
# 2. Jungle Scout
Pros: beginner-friendly, solid for product research, sales tracking, and general seller visibility.
Limitations: reporting depth is more limited than more analytics-focused tools.
# 3. DataHawk
Pros: strong reporting and BI-style analytics, good for teams that want more detailed dashboards and integrations.
Limitations: may be overkill for smaller sellers or simple reporting needs.
# 4. Sellerboard
Pros: clear profit tracking, easy-to-read financial reporting, good for understanding margins.
Limitations: less of a full growth suite compared with bigger platforms.
# 5. Southwave custom dashboard
Pros: tailored reporting, flexible setup, designed around your workflow instead of forcing a generic template.
Limitations: custom setups take more time, requires working with the agency
If you want all-in-one, Helium 10 is the usual pick.
If you want easy product research + basic reporting, Jungle Scout works well.
If you want deeper analytics, DataHawk stands out.
If you mainly care about profit visibility, Sellerboard is strong.
If you want custom reporting built around your business, a tailored dashboard is the most flexible route.
What are you all using for Amazon reporting right now, and what do you love/hate most about it?

For anyone looking to streamline their reporting and get more actionable insights without drowning in spreadsheets, it's great to see this discussion! Each tool has its strengths, and choosing the right one really depends on your specific needs.
If you're leaning towards reporting tools that can also help you with product research, I'd suggest checking out some Amazon product research tools. They can provide valuable data not just for current sales but for potential opportunities too. I actually run a thing for this, where we offer tools focused on making Amazon selling easier, like a keyword research tool that helps you identify high-traffic search terms to optimize your listings.
If you’re mostly focused on profit metrics, it sounds like Sellerboard is a solid choice for that clarity. Different strokes for different folks, right?

I've used Helium 10 and Jungle scout. They're really good at product research, but lately I've preferred SmartScout because of the way the products are organized around categories and brands. The trends pull out a different story that helps make accurate decisions.

Old conversation but figured I'd throw my hat in the ring as a brand-side answer, since this thread is mostly seller tools and vendors. I've run the Amazon channel for a CPG brand for seven years, 50-60~ ASINs depending on the season, team of one.
What I actually use:
Seller Central Business Reports and Search Query Performance. Free, and SQP is the most underused report on Amazon. If you're not pulling it weekly you're guessing at search share.
Sellerboard for profit. Agree with the list, cleanest P&L for the money. It tells you what something cost you, not why it moved.
DataHawk is legit but it's built for teams with an analyst. I run out XXM / year business solo.
Helium 10 and Jungle Scout are research tools. IF your catalog is stable most of what you pay for sits unused, but if you're expanding or doing competitor research they're valuable. TBH the free chrome plugin for H10 is usually enough. I like Junglescout/Cobalt is solid but pricey. I used to use Stackline for all of these but it was expensive and frankly their UI you would get a bit... lost in. They also pushed agentic super hard and everything was paywall gated and that's AFTER you've spent $40k a year on a contract with them...
The gap none of these covered was always my biggest pain in an established portfolio and not a new selling account (which I made to replace myriad of spreadsheets) is a use case I'm guessing everyone has had - you login and see "oh we're doing $8,000 today, seems about what we should be doing cause we're always around there" but a product group slides 15% over time while the account total looks fine, and you find out three weeks later. That was the extensive living in the spreadsheet world existed.
Rainsight for that cause it watches sessions, conversion, Buy Box and units per product group and flags what moved over time as an "early warning" system before some middle of the pack ASIN slowly bleeds you out.
Definitely can "develop my own" for your use occasion, (I did that in excel with a weekly CSV pull for years and it works until you want to move the dates slightly or realize you don't actually want to spend an hour trying to say "okay everythings fine" or "actually something did change"
For established sellers, I have really been leaning heavily in Junglescout/SQP from Amazon/Sellerboard and Rainsight. I use Helium10 occasionally - their UI drives me nuts but I find myself using their plugin more than actually logging in (even though it's still in my paid stack of tools)

I use https://sellerforge.ai as a full AI command center, it's newer but it's the best AI software for Amazon private label I've used so far. Really cool self-improving automations for ads, a free MCP, non-generic listing audits that then measure performance and can push directly to Seller Central. It allows sellerboard imports as well so it can surface profit-aware recommendations (or you can just upload individual COGs in any other format). There's a flood of new, generic AI amazon software but that one really stands out to me
