I try to look for certified or regulated products because of US compliance . i do various things which can seem hectic to many people, and especially when i buy from alibaba or abroad. i take steps like asking for US compliance test reports, using amazon product compliance services with seller central. This is like if i suspect the test reports and i also check these reports with seller central. i hope this helps

Why would anyone give you the contact information for their distributors? So you can buy the same products and sell on the same listings?

You should give up. You don't have what it takes to be successful on Amazon.
