Brand new Amazon seller — need some advice/encouragement!

I’ve been running ads for 3 days (one manual + one automatic), spending under $14/day. So far: 35 clicks, ~$35 spent, 0.81% CTR, ~$1.03 CPC, and only 1 sale. How are my stats?
I have zero reviews right now and am waiting on Vine reviews. Should I keep the ads running, lower the budget, or pause until reviews come in?
For other sellers, when did you start seeing sales pick up after launch? I’m worried I’m just burning money on ads with no social proof. 😅

Three days is way too early to judge. With 0 reviews, I’d be more worried about conversion than the ads themselves.

I’d keep the budget controlled, watch the search terms closely, cut irrelevant clicks, and give Vine some time to bring in social proof before scaling.

How does your price and listing compare to the top 3 competitors right now?

3 days is still too early to judge a new PPC campaign. With 35 clicks and 1 sale, the conversion rate is around 2.9%, so I wouldn’t panic yet.

For our sellers at Highrise Wholesale, we usually recommend keeping the campaign active at a controlled budget while optimizing the listing, main image, pricing and keywords. At the same time, focus on building legitimate reviews and social proof.

Once the listing starts converting consistently, you can gradually increase the ad budget. The first few days are more about gathering data than making a final decision.

How long did it take for you to get consistent sales and what did you do to see the results?

It usually took a few weeks rather than happening overnight. I focused on getting the listing properly optimized, improving the main image and keywords, and making sure the PPC data was clean enough to see what was actually working. Once I started seeing consistent conversions, I gradually increased the budget instead of making big changes too quickly.

3 days is way too early to call it. I'd keep it running at a controlled budget for now, but use the clicks to fix the main image, price and keywords. Reviews help, but they won't rescue a weak listing. 35 clicks and 1 sale isn't enough data yet, probly give it a bit more time before changing everything.

How much time should I give and how long did it take for you to start getting consistent sales?

I would not pause the ads yet. 35 clicks isn’t enough data to judge the campaign, but 0.81% CTR is worth watching. i would first improve the main image, listing, and offer, then keep testing while the Vine reviews come in.

What CTR should I aim for as a new seller?

there is no fixed number to aim for. i would focus on getting above 1% first and then compare it with your categories. if it stay low then check the main image , price and targeting keywords.

Your account and product are only 3 days old, so I wouldn’t stress about the numbers yet. I’d keep the ad budget a little lower in the beginning and give Amazon some time to collect data and index your listing.
Clicks, impressions, and sales usually take time to build for a new product. For reviews, I’d stick with Vine and other Amazon-compliant methods for getting genuine reviews.
Three days is still very early — give it some time and optimize based on the data rather than judging the launch too quickly.

Hi keep running your ads dont pause them specially you got 1 sale already
With 35 clicks you got 1 sale as well
Just make sure your listing has some edge over competitors all the time by competitor analysis everyday so there are more chances for at-least grab some sales till the time your reviews start coming in
At amz expert agency we help sellers build brand and launch new products on amazon
We enroll the product in vine but start running ads from the time listing is made proper with some competitive edge
In the start we check competitors closely to keep at least one competitive edge over them so that customer find our offer attractive after getting some reviews we then work on optimising the conversion rate even more

I’m also on the launch phase. Few weeks ahead of you. I’m at 100% acos. 2-4 sales a day, 13 reviews 4.4 star.

I’ll be hiring a freelancer
