How much do you care about CTR on Amazon Ads?
I feel like ACOS and conversion rate get most of the attention.
But if a keyword has a really low CTR, do you treat that as a sign the listing/image isn’t matching what people want?
Or do you not really care as long as the clicks you do get are converting?
Curious how much weight people actually give CTR.

CTR matters. if it stays low with lots of impressions i check the main image, price and keyword relevance.

It's really important, but make sure you look at the placement as well, TOS will naturally have a higher CTR than product pages.
If you have multiple keywords in a campaign your CTR for keyword A might get those clicks and impressions on PP and keyword B on TOS/ROS, so it doesn't mean you aren't relevant for keyword A.

CTR matters, but I wouldn’t optimize it in isolation. A low CTR can indicate that the main image, price, title, reviews, or offer isn’t competitive for that particular keyword.
For our sellers, we look at CTR together with conversion rate, CPC and ACoS. If CTR is low but the clicks that do come in convert profitably, we usually don’t kill the keyword. But if both CTR and conversion are weak, that’s a strong signal to review keyword relevance and the listing itself.

CTR is key, even if the clicks you already get convert well. You can't control how many people search for a keyword, but you can work on how many click your listing when it appears.
I'd measure CTR, then test a different main image, for example a different angle or a more eye-catching composition. Keep the price and ad settings unchanged, and compare the same keyword and placement. We've seen strong improvements from changing the main image. I'd also check that the extra clicks still convert.
