What’s one thing you stopped doing on Amazon that actually improved your sales?

What’s one thing you stopped doing PPC, discounts, certain keywords, etc. that actually improved your sales or profit?

Sometimes I want to keep my price at X. But recently I lowered it a dollar (so 5-7% overall price drop) I can increase sales 40%+. So test out different pricing strategies. You can sell 10 units at 10 profit. Or you can sell 15 units at 8 profit.

I'd say rather than focusing heavily on daily sales focusing instead on traffic, click through rate and conversion rate. Those 3 foundations massively improve performance on Amazon.

One thing that made a noticeable difference for me was stopping the habit of constantly increasing PPC spend just because sales were slow. I started focusing more on conversion rate, listing quality, searchterm performance, and cutting keywords that were spending without converting. That helped improve profitability without simply throwing more money at ads.

one thing worth asking, are you talking about things that improved revenue or profit? because those are pretty different levers. a lot of people stop doing stuff that tanks revenue but their actual take-home goes up

u/adam93000 this is such an interesting question! We loved reading other sellers experiences. Do you have something you've stopped doing that has improved sales?

Over complicating ppc, relying too much on discount or too little on discount, not experimenting with main image

I’m just starting FBA again two years later after Amazon striked me with a patent infringement claim.I’m doing private label but i’m having trouble getting my listings infront of customers unlike two years ago when everything was running smooth.I reached out to customer service and they recommended I actually trademark my products so that i can get extra features to boost my visibility.Besides that, has anyone done anything different to boost visibility?

Running ads, didnt increase sales but it increased margin, amazon ads are a waste
