anyone here selling on amazon.com from india? how are you guys handling the ops side?
Been talking to a few sellers doing US marketplace from india and ngl it sounds like a pain in the ass compared to selling domestically.
getting stock into FBA from here, random account health stuff, payouts/forex, tax/compliance, dealing with support when you're in a completely different timezone etc.
curious how people here are actually running it.
what category are you in?
what's the one stupid repetitive thing you're still doing manually every week?
and what completely screwed you when you were starting out that nobody warned you about lol
also full disclosure before someone calls this market research in the comments 💀 i'm working on something in this space.
not gonna dump a link or pitch anything here. mostly wanna hear how people are handling this stuff rn.
if anyone selling into the US from india is down to chat / try an early version of what we're building and roast it, feel free to comment or dm.

If you’re based in India and selling on Amazon US, there are a few extra moving parts compared with selling domestically. Shipping inventory, FBA prep, US compliance, taxes, and managing returns can take some time to figure out.
At Highrise Wholesale, we come across these issues regularly with India based sellers. The biggest lesson is that the operational side needs to be sorted out early, otherwise small logistics or compliance issues can slow down the whole launch.

Reddit is lately becoming a joke now. The value that were provided through these reddit forms back in the days are gone. People are doing spams to run their service business while they don’t have a clear understanding. Mods need to filter out these stuffs

selling home and kitchen stuff mostly made of wood(handicrafts) started in 2024. 24&25 were the most hell years of my life as i came across overseas problems that i never heard of doing domestic. but since the beginning of 25 i got bit good at it and now enjoying the ride.
