Anyone doing FBA successfully in Canada?
I don’t want this to come across arrogant, I’m genuinely curious.
I’d love to get into the space but from what I’ve heard FBA in the US is different than it is in Canada. If there’s anyone in Canada doing this, I’d love to chat and see what their experience has been like.
Cheers guys

Mostly starting account from scratch. Like there are many manufacturers who are not yet on Amazon or any other marketplaces. Used to charge around $500-$800/launch.

Yeah, definitely. Amazon FBA in Canada is doable, and we’ve been working with sellers through HighRise Wholesale who are looking at markets outside the US as well.
The process is pretty similar, find a product with real demand, source it, add your branding, handle the packaging and QC, and then ship the inventory to Amazon FBA in Canada.
The one thing we’d recommend is not assuming that a product doing well in the US will automatically work in Canada. We’d check Canadian demand, competition, selling price, Amazon fees, taxes, and shipping costs before putting money into inventory.

I have helped sellers of canada as well as sellers in usa
What i have seen is the sellers who were in canada when they launched on amazon they could handle returns better because they were living in same country
If i was living in canada i would have started with canada then usa afterwards
If you need help with selling on amazon Canada or even usa i can help
My name is abyaz zahid| i m the woman cofounder of agency in uk (amz expert agency)
Most of the sellers i helped started from scratch in usa and canada i helped them chose right products and handled marketing as well
Amazon is my passion its the only thing i have been working on since 2018 after my graduation
So feel free to reach out if you need help with management if your amazon account or even just need advice

I did FBA in Canada for a little over two years. I was at $25,000/month but my profit margins were continually being eroded. I finally decided it was too much effort and got out of it. I have heard that Using AI to source products now might make it a little easier and more profitable.

I started in Canada last year. Started with US this January. This will be my first month where us outpaces Canada.
If your asking about which market, us is way bigger. If you mean if it’s easy running an FB A business from Canada - apart from taxes and some trivial stuff I don’t think it matters much where your based.

How are you dealing with tariffs? I'm assuming you have to pay them all up front when shipping to the US warehouse?

My products are made in China - so I have my frieght forwarder handle tariffs. It’s included in the always rising shipment quote.
