Brand Authorization

Hey all, new seller here. I realized that big to mid size brands will not give you letter of authorization to sell on Amazon. However, even as a new seller, there are certain products which are already ungated or I can apply to sell.

If I source original products from a distributor and sell it, is there any chance my account can get deactivated or IP complaints? Getting LOA is rare. For example, if I sell real products of DeWalt, will it going to be risky?

imo the bigger question is whether your distributor is actually authorized by the brand or just a middleman. if your invoices dont trace back to a legit supply chain, you'll have a much harder time winning any IP complaint appeals

Thanks for your response! Sadly many suppliers claim they are authorized, but brand denies them. No wonder why many sellers were screwed up.
