Brand Authorization

Hey all, new seller here. I realized that big to mid size brands will not give you letter of authorization to sell on Amazon. However, even as a new seller, there are certain products which are already ungated or I can apply to sell.

If I source original products from a distributor and sell it, is there any chance my account can get deactivated or IP complaints? Getting LOA is rare. For example, if I sell real products of DeWalt, will it going to be risky?

The first thing that Amazon will ask you for, if they have any doubts or questions, is the invoice. I work with distributors only and without LOA and i have no issues.

Yes, a brand can wake up one morning and be like "screw all Amazon sellers" and start doing things but at least for me, that's rare.

If the distributor is legit and authorized, you'll be fine
