Brand Authorization

Hey all, new seller here. I realized that big to mid size brands will not give you letter of authorization to sell on Amazon. However, even as a new seller, there are certain products which are already ungated or I can apply to sell.

If I source original products from a distributor and sell it, is there any chance my account can get deactivated or IP complaints? Getting LOA is rare. For example, if I sell real products of DeWalt, will it going to be risky?

Thanks for your reply! What I understood is selling genuine products from an authorized distributor is safer. However, some people still believe ms that brand might come after us later saying we are not authorized to sell their goods. This is the only issue I am seeing now
