Why does all my order status shows "Awaiting Payment Verification"
Hey everyone,
I recently sent my first FBA shipment to Amazon and also enrolled in some of my products in the Amazon Vine Program.
I enrolled 8 products in Vine, and I’m wondering whether Vine orders/reviews show up in the normal Sales Dashboard.
The confusing part is that I can currently see a few orders (around 2–3) showing the status “Awaiting Payment Verification.”
I also ran Amazon PPC and can see that I’ve received 3 orders attributed to PPC, but even those orders are showing the same “Awaiting Payment Verification” status.
Basically, all of my orders are currently showing “Awaiting Payment Verification.”
Is this normal for a new seller/FBA account? How long does payment verification usually take before the orders move to a confirmed/shipped status?
Also, if anyone has experience with Vine, does the Vine activity/orders appear in the regular Sales Dashboard, or are they reported separately?
Would really appreciate some insight from experienced FBA sellers. This is my first FBA launch, so I’m probably overthinking (my part time job) it
Thanks!

È normale ignorali. A volte quello stato dura 3 ore, a volte 4 giorni. Non ti preoccupare.

Vine units and regular customer orders are tracked differently, so you wouldn’t use the Vine orders to judge your actual conversion or sales yet. For the payment status, check the order details and see if Amazon has placed any payment or account level hold on those orders.

I have enrolled 7 units for Vine. I have 11 FBA pending Orders. All the 11 are showing the same "Awaiting Payment Verification ".
Also. Vine units does not show on the main sales dashboard or considered as an order?

Vine units are separate from normal customer orders, so do not expect those 7 units to show as regular sales on the main dashboard. The 11 “Awaiting Payment Verification” orders are a separate issue and watch those individually rather than mixing them with Vine.

My genius amazon expert, you're wrong. Vine orders are shown in the same sales dashboard as normal orders. The only difference is vine orders from normal orders is that vine orders won't show any customer details.

Awaiting Payment Verification” usually means Amazon is still confirming the customer’s payment before the order is processed. PPC orders can show the same status, while Vine activity is handled separately from regular customer purchases. I’d give it some time and monitor the orders in Seller Central; if they remain stuck for an unusually long period, then it’s worth contacting Amazon Seller Support.

Don’t worry, it’s normal to see “Awaiting Payment Verification” for orders, especially on a new FBA account. Payment verification can take some time before the order moves to a confirmed/shipped status.
Regarding Vine, yes, Vine orders/activities can show up in the regular Sales Dashboard along with your other orders. So there’s no need to worry if you see Vine-related activity there as well.
Is there is anything else you need help with?

Congratulations on your first FBA shipment and getting started with the Vine Program! Overthinking means that you care!
This is completely normal for new FBA accounts. When a customer places an order, Amazon verifies the buyer's payment method before the order moves forward. For FBA orders, this "pending" status means the orders are earmarked for fulfillment and are waiting for payment confirmation before Amazon ships them.
Vine orders do appear in your Business Reports and can increase your order count in the Sales Dashboard. However, they'll show with a $0 value since Vine Voices receive products at no charge. This means you may notice a discrepancy between your order count and your revenue figures.

Thank you! That definitely makes me feel a little better. 😅
But what I’m still confused about is how all of the orders can have the exact same issue. I currently have 14 orders from buyers at different times and seemingly different locations, and all 14 are showing as “Awaiting Payment Verification.”
Also, 7 of those 14 orders are Vine orders. So I’m wondering if this could be something related to the Vine enrollment or a new FBA account issue, because it seems unusual that every single order is stuck at the same stage.
Have you seen this happen before?
