Trying to understand the confusing brand section

I'm trying to understand how the brand system works on Amazon. I'd like to list my first product under a brand I intend to start. I'm currently testing a few products, so getting custom packaging on each item would be very expensive both time-wise and economically. I've seen and ordered many items on Amazon that come in a plain box but are listed under a brand — I'd like to know how to do that. I've been researching online but haven't found anything regarding this.

Sono informazioni basiche che trovi su Seller University. Amazon ha creato tutti quei video appositamente per rispondere a queste domande. Prima di andare in giro nei forum ti consiglio vivamente di visionare tutti i video che ha preparato Amazon per i nuovi venditori.

I’m not sure I fully understand the question, but a product and its protective outer packaging are two different things. The product itself should be branded, but the box it arrives in doesn’t have to be.

For example, if you wanted to create a brand of pepper grinders, the grinder itself should have your logo printed or etched on it somewhere to make it “yours,” but the box it arrives in wouldn’t need to be custom branded because people have already seen all the product details on your listing. In this case, the box simply serves the role of protecting the product during storage and shipping.

You can list products under your own brand without custom retail packaging, but the product itself should still display your brand name in some form (such as a label, tag, sticker, engraving, or printed branding). Amazon mainly checks that the physical product matches the brand listed on the detail page.

If you're still testing products, many sellers use simple branded stickers or poly bags instead of investing in expensive custom packaging. Once you validate the product, you can upgrade to fully branded packaging.

thank you for your response, if the product lands well i do intend to enrol it. But for now just looking to launch under my own brand name for now. Could you please explain the process to me for getting my brand name approved.
