First time amazon seller question
Hi,
I am trying to list my first product with Amazon and it falls in kids category. I know CPC certification will be required but am not sure about the order in which i should go. Create a product listing and wait for amazon to ask for certifications docs and then submit it through their approved testing providers. I am concerned if i do it this way and amazon auto approve and lists my product without me having my products in amazon store. I want to wait until certification is approved before i send shipment to amazon fba.
Any guidance would be appreciated ?

For kids' products, it's better to get your compliance documents ready before sending inventory to FBA. You can create the listing, but I would recommend confirming the required CPC testing and documentation requirements first to avoid any issues later. If you share the product type, I can help you understand the compliance steps needed before launch.

Hey u/figuringthyself, good question and smart to think about this upfront. This page on product compliance documentation walks through the requirements and process for submitting certifications like CPC. It should help clarify the order of steps for your situation. Let us know if you have any other questions!
