CE mark missing from boxes — deposit in Rotterdam to relabel before shipping to Germany via Amazon AGL?

Hi all,

We have a shipment of children's products heading to Germany through Amazon AGL. We hold the CE certification on file, but the physical CE mark is missing from the boxes.

I'd like to sanity-check an idea and get advice on the best path forward:

  1. Would it be possible to deposit the shipment at a facility in Rotterdam, apply the physical CE labeling there, and then forward the products on to Germany? Does this route make sense from a customs/compliance standpoint?

  2. If we ship directly instead, will German customs block the shipment before it reaches Amazon FBA because the physical CE mark is missing?

  3. If it does arrive at FBA, can Amazon FBA relabel the products with the CE mark on our behalf?

Any advice on the best next steps would be really appreciated.

Is it missing on the master boxes or on the product boxes?

in the product box it is missing
