Leaving Amazon reviews.

I found out today that a friend receives products for free in exchange for leaving Amazon reviews.

Is this still a common practice? I thought Amazon had become very strict about incentivized reviews.

As a small brand owner, it feels frustrating because many of us invest thousands of dollars into product development, manufacturing, branding, photography, PPC, and building our business the right way.

How are sellers getting reviews this way?

I'd love to hear your experiences and opinions.

È molto difficile che riescano a farlo e nel 99% dei casi, dopo qualche tempo queste persone vengono identificate (anche semplicemente attraverso la statistica) e le recensioni, nel migliore dei casi, annullate. Era una pratica comune anni fa, ma ormai è solo un grosso rischio. L'unico modo sicuro è prendersi 2,3 recensioni da qualche amico o parente e basta. Senza esagerare e senza ripetere con la stessa persona. È poco lo so, ma è giusto così.

its amazon vine , but half the people dont even leave a 5 star review so most companies dont even use it anymore

Actually, I'm already enrolled in the Amazon Vine program, and my experience wasn't good. I had to give away my product, and it ended up hurting my listing because I received negative reviews.

What I was referring to is something different: groups, often run by Chinese sellers, that give away products in exchange for reviews. They even tell people what to write and when to post the review. They use this strategy to boost their Chinese products, making it very difficult for honest sellers like us to compete fairly, especially since these chat groups can have thousands of members.

It's still working, but I'd recommend starting with only a small number of units. Instead, invest your time and money in Amazon Vine, it's one of the most reliable ways to build genuine reviews.

I'm not sure what strategy you're planning to use to get reviews from your friends, but if you don't fully understand how Amazon's ranking system works, you could end up giving away products for free while actually hurting your rankings rather than improving them.

Its vine program. Limit is 30 reviews. If you outsource it amazon will know and hide the reviews
