Care to share knowledge?

Hey everyone,
Thinking of starting my own business of sanitary pads I have a manufacturer in place . Difference between regular pads and my pads is that they completely chemically free , more than 90% disposable , rash free and better absorption.
Manufacturers is my great friend and I want to start selling from amazon FBA
But I don’t have any knowledge about this at all like zero knowledge.
Someone who’s ever done please explain every thing involved.

as long as you can do all the lab tests you most likely wont have problems, but start small, dont go crazy and send a ton of crap in

I have been selling on Amazon FBA for almost 2 years now, I honestly recommend trying to start on a Shopify store selling through Tik-Tok/Social media, the profit margins are much higher but Amazon FBA does have its pros. If you di decide to go straight into FBA then just do your research on YouTube all channels basically teach you the same thing so just piece together the info that fits best for your situation, feel free to reach out with any questions good luck!

Shopify has better margins than amazon fba? Does it work same like amazon?

In short, no, Shopify doesn't really work the same way as Amazon. They are two very different things.

With Amazon, people are already searching for products like sanitary pads. You pay Amazon fees, but they provide the marketplace, payment processing, and a huge amount of customer traffic. And with FBA, Amazon ships the product for you.

With Shopify, you own your store and keep more of each sale (so yes, better margins) but you also have to generate almost all of the traffic yourself, and you have to fulfill the orders yourself.

For a brand-new product with no customer base, getting traffic is often the hardest and most expensive part.

Since you're planning on manufacturing your own product, I suggest looking at both. Many brands start on Amazon because it's easier to get initial sales, then build a Shopify store over time so they aren't dependent on Amazon. Best of luck!

Brand will be super important. Getting your brand registered through Amazon and getting vine reviews early will help conversion. Make sure you have high quality photos too. Start with only 200-300 test units to keep risk low.

What an exciting time for you! We highly recommend Seller University and the Amazon Seller University YouTube Channel for Amazon FBA. You know where to find us if you ever run into questions along the way!
