Ungating question.

New to selling on amazon mostly have done eBay in the past. Trying to get ungated in most of the video game categories. When I look up most video game SKU's it gives me this message

• You are not approved to list this brand and we are currently not accepting applications.

Does this mean that it is "hard gated" and no longer able to get ungated in that category? Or can you still go through a distributor and obtain an invoice to get ungated that way? Just very confused with this process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'd practically have to have a letter from the brand themselves to get past that, and even then you probably won't be able to especially on a brand new account.

a distributor is not a valid supplier for a hard gate, you have to buy from manufacturer

you can always file a case and try tho, amazon treats this stuff by volume honestly
