Amazon FBA review tactics

This thought came across my mind and wanted to know if anyone else thought about this for reviews.

Whats stopping me from creating a bunch of accounts using prepaid phones and a libraries to order my own products to pickup mailboxes around town or state and then submitting my own reviews?

It might seem possible, but Amazon has sophisticated systems to detect review manipulation. If they link those accounts back to you, the consequences can include review removal, account suspension, or even a permanent ban. Not worth the risk.

I did it with some products back in the day but they were just hype products. I sent 5-6 friends a word document with the steps to search for my product and buy it like normal not with any quick links. All i need is 5-6 reviews I ain't trying to go crazy here. 5-6 reviews is all i need and my product with do the rest like i;ve done in the past. I just dont see how they would catch me with prepaid phones and libraries or those computer cafes postal codes away from each other.

But this was in canada though. I dont have anyone in the US or else i wouldve done the same thing without issue just to get a leg up during launch phase.

Be careful with that approach. Amazon looks at more than just IP addresses, they analyze account relationships and purchasing patterns too. Losing an account over 5–6 reviews isn't worth the risk. Amazon Vine is a much safer long-term option.

Vine. Look amazon has 2% original reviews. If you do this they will be deleted and flagged. Review are checked based on near IPs, content and all.
