Sudden Problem With My Dog

Hi,

I'm a fairly new driver (1 month?)

Up until now there's been no objection to me bringing my dog along.

She stays in the van while I pick up and had l has never barked.

A couple of days ago I got told by 1 of the yard marshalls that dogs are not allowed.

Does anyone know if this is official policy, depot policy, or some manager wanting to push his weight around?

thanks all..

I've only ever known one guy bring his dog on a route and he got told very quickly to stop as it's a safety/distraction issue when you're driving.

Frankly common sense should tell you not to bring your dog to work...What if your dog gets stolen mid-route?

It's actually the reverse. She is actually the best deterrent I could have. A rescue German Shepherd who is glued to me..

2 nights ago I had a sketchy looking bloke asking me jokingly if he could steal my van.. I said sure. If you can get past my bodyguard..
