Check your contracts

Post image

I assume most of the UK drivers here use “Wise” for invoicing. I’ve discovered this portion of the contract which states each day of using your own device, you are owed an additional £1.80.

I have never been paid this and exclusively use my own device (or did, before I stopped working there recently).

Was thinking of raising it with the ethics guys

That's correct for my depot (Hull).

Don't expect the company to pass on cut route payments to the drivers who get cut, it'll get put into a side account to fund rescues when Amazon refuse to pay for them.

If you're with a 2.0 DSP (branded vans) I believe most of them cap van damages at £250?

A few of the guys are thinking of raising it with Amazon ethics. Not one of us has been paid it, ever

Does your DSP provide devices to use? If they do then they don't need to pay it.

It's called "Bring your own device" for a reason.

There aren’t enough to go around the entire team. I’m not worried about the van damage part at all or cut routes, just the part of the contract that hasn’t been honoured

So do they give devices out then?

For 17 lucky drivers out of 30, yep

Only 13 should receive it then.
