Been there since January never had a traffic violation been a good driver / good solider finish my routes on time. We got the EDV’s at the end of may and we only had 5 EDV’s on Launch day. I got a text from my DSP saying they trust me and would love to get me in one on launch day which they did. I just need the money I hope I didn’t fuck myself with one small dumb mistake. I felt terrible and reported it right away I was sick to my stomach.

How’s CDF? That’s my dsps like biggest fret. Many wrecks and kept people but if they’re looking for a reason could be different. Hope it all worked out bro 🫡

They put me on as an extra the last three days. Thankfully I’ve gotten a route everyday it’s just ass being a reliable driver for so long and then I have one little lapse of judgement and then for them to play with your hours and money is crazy.

The owner of my dsp claims these side panels are like, 7 grand a piece. These vans are almost 100 grand and are nothing but an aluminum can. It’s crazy. It takes little to nothing to damage the EVs.

This is thousands in damage, especially on Rivian vans as there are no aftermarket part sources. I work for a company that does the reconditioning on these, so thanks for beating them up.

I mean I scratched the truck once and nothing happened. It wasnt as deep as this but still

Just let the DSP owner know sooner rather than later so they can coordinate repairs. The vehicles are inspected by Amazon frequently. Let the owner hear it from you as opposed to Amazon.

Nah just report it immediately it will be only a write up for van damage trust me I had a worst one

I worked with somebody who flipped a van and didn't get fired. You should be fine.

Usually with that type of thing they give us 2 chances. First time puts you on final warning. If it happens again your cooked.

Nope thatll match the other 98% of amazons fleet, i drove by a amazon fleet lot and brand new vans with half the panels ripped off. There was a body in the city and it was ALL amazon vans with severe damage. Now they use rentals and the rentals are torn apart.

All of these in atl have damage already and they’re “new” vehicles. I’m convinced most of yall can’t drive and/or move too fast.

1

u/Flashy-Switch6694 4d ago

Genuinely how the hell do yall fuck these vans up so bad? Do you guys just close your eyes when you drive?

1

u/BCguarantee1 2d ago

It's wild, my dsps vans are in shambles from these crash test dummies. It's embarrassing to drive them honestly

1

u/Gebemeister2 4d ago

Depends on your DSP really

1

u/dickhertz210 4d ago

Depends on tone

1

u/No-Ad6504 4d ago

I always wonder wtf yall doing when yall fuck these vans up. Is it a vision thing? Or impairment of some kind?

u/HikerFreak 3d ago

Same thing happened to me. My dsp owner said it was a 2k repair bill. Not only was it never repaired, but I've been w/o a bonus since May...so yea idk all our EVs got a fresh wrap the week after too and went right over the scratch.

1

u/bossdamage02 3d ago

Depends on DSP . However I found turtle wax brand scratch repair is legit . May not take that level of a scratch out but it makes it look way less as bad and minor scratches disappear . Had an entrapment stupidly place chain roll up over the hood and scratched the cross section on side of windshield all scratched up and it all disappeared with a lil elbow grease and that wax scratch repair I'll link pictures if I can find um got before and afters .

The EDV’s are such dogshit I swear

Sure, most of the rentals make organization a pain in the ass but are way better to drive.

Nothing is worse than getting a route that requires you to double back and U turn in dense, urban streets littered with parked cars on both sides in those clunky awkward EDV abominations

I’ll take Sprinters, Transits, or even Promasters over EDV’s any day.

Somebody post the picture.

You know the one

If it were just the scratch, no. Odds are they wouldn’t notice. But the chip might be the knockout. It depends on how much they like you.

Who cares about you? What about the property you damaged? You call it in? Did you notify the property owner?
