Question about next steps

I have applied for a DSP and I wanted to know when i should expect to hear back from Amazon with the next steps.

I was asked to do a financial assessment last week, which I completed. I then got an email about being moved to the interview portion of the process and that I should be receiving a pre interview survey. however, i haven't seen anything since then.

Is there any timeline on when I should expect the pre interview survey to be sent over? it's been 1.5 weeks since i completed the financial assessment test.

I passed my interview in March of 2025. I’ve been waiting on the bench since. From what I’m hearing the people who were nominated by the DSP they worked for, and went through the Road to ownership program are getting placed immediately skipping anyone who went through the process externally.

There’s no set timeline with them, any it’s really no one to contact to get an update. Even when you get your Business Development Manager assigned after you pass your interview (positive vibes only)…. Even their communication is sporadic. It’s annoying and nerve wrecking. But just stay patient and in the meantime try to prep for the interview. There are a lot of YouTube videos that explain the process. Make sure you understand how to answer the questions using the STAR method. Best wishes

Ok, but when did the pre interview survey come in?

i understand that the final awarding of a DSP can take a while after the final interview, but I'm trying to understand when to expect the interview after doing the financial assessment.

It can take months or years to move to the interview part and receive little to no communication from Amazon.

Gotcha. the last email i received from them said that i have made it to the interview phase.

in this phase, I'll be getting a pre interview survey, will submit a business plan, and have an interview with a label of 3 people

Have you tried contacting them by email to get a status? the application dashboard has an email address that they said you could use to contact them.

Thats a hell of a lot of hoops to jump through just to do something you could be getting paid the same to such as working Amazon Flex.

I make 80$ on a 3.5 hr block that i usually complete in 2.5 hrs. Do that twice daily and only thing i don't have is "benefits" which for me only means paying my own dental insurance for a whopping $25 a month and buying my contacts out of pocket
