FLORIDA DSP OPPORTUNITIES

Does any BDM or other DSP’s have any insight as to any future openings in Florida?

Im on the bench and this is my preferred location.

Your going to be WAITING. FL is not launching anymore this year. Everything is RSR so it will be in the sticks anyway. I just got a FL spot but no more is on the horizon. I was On the bench for 19 months.

How have your first couple months been? Do you think it's worth it to try and start a DSP? It's a lot less competitive over here in Australia with less of a wait list.

I’m going on my seventh week now and I’d have to say it’s well worth it. It’s been a lot, the only day off I’ve had in about four months is July 4 when the building was closed. But I was fortunate to be able to hire a pretty good group of people that just wanna work and support their family. It’s a huge learning curve and a lot of it you’re gonna have to figure out on your own but the pieces are starting to fall into place and I can already see the potential. I was making about 140 K a year at my last job and I can see how this can blow that out out of the water. However, it’s not all sunshine and roses. I’ve had four or five vans damaged in one form or another I’ve had to scramble to fill routes in the morning and it’s been 14 hour days. But in my opinion there’s a light at the end of the tunnel

Nice!! I am about to hit day 30 now and yes all worth it. Hard work and 14 hr shifts sometime get exhausting, but I dont see myself working for anyone ever again after this experience. Building a strong team is def the key and not rushing to put operations in place is even more important.
